a. and i were five minutes away from meeting kath when my cell phone rang. "marg, i am waiting outside the rendezvous and there's a problem." we had planned to rendezvous at a restaurant called the rendezvous. well, the rendezvous was a strip bar that had seen better days. we laughed our heads off, what a great start to our day!! plan b?
I arrived a few minutes early and made my way to the address where we had agreed to meet. I saw the storefront on the right, nice building, a very classy travel agent. Then I looked to my left where the Rendezvous should be and thought, only us, this could only happen to us! We had chosen a perfectly nice restaurant, or so we thought, off the internet. I had even read the menu and decided what I would eat and THIS is what I find! I ran to the car to phone Margie. I was so excited. I knew she would love it as much as I did.
So we decided to hit the road and find somewhere to eat. We saw a sign that pretty much decided where we needed to go.
We were very excited to finally be going to Paris together. And so unexpectedly!
Oh look! Everything is so Parisian!
Antiques! We love antiques, but we didn't stop, we had to eat first.
The Soeurs have their priorities down pat.
Finally, a bistro .... oh. But it was closed.
That was it, our plans to eat in Paris were foiled, nothing was open. As a. said, "we've run out of town, we better turn around!" On our way out of town the lovely paris road antiques was a definite pit stop.
The souers had so much fun, we wanted to sit in these chairs and talk all day. Of course, we would have put nice cushions on the chairs, swept the porch and opened wine before we sat down in them.
tomorrow, our shopping.

OH JOY! great photos~what fun this visit has been so far ~ Paris no less you ladies know how go all out!

Robin, sadly she did not bring any bread. What was up with that? I miss my rye bread from her family bakery.
