step back

please, move back, you are bumping into my new eyelashes.  

people, i took a close look at my mascara, oops, and it not only looked clumpy it smelled funny, long past the throw out date recommended by tangobaby the other day.  i took the plunge and bought one of her favourites and like i said, step back, my lashes are comin' through.

tonight i said goodbye and good luck to my dearest friend, she is off to the bahamas to run the rainbow inn.  there were tears, lots of them.  i gave her my chanel lipstick so that my lips could always be on her lips.  we bawled our eyes out.  my mascara ran down her forehead, i'm taller and we stood hugging and crying long past the point any mascara could survive.  i love her and will miss her so much.  here we are, back in the day, drinking martinis on a hot summer day.

you have no idea, it was just like the old days, i have been in bed all day recovering, we cried for over an hour, sobbing, in the middle of the restaurant. we would just get ourselves under control and then would start wailing again. remember this remember that. how can we live without each other.

wow a friendship like that is worth an entire case of good and expensive mascara. forget about the fact that it ended up on her forehead. that is a teensy detail not worth bothering about... you say her forehead...? or was that before the new back-up version? margie you must be a lovely person and good, good friend. it says so much that rhonda would cry her eyes out upon leaving canada to move to the bahamas.
wow. kath always has said you are really special. i see that more each visit.
